An introduction to monotypes using botanical inspired imagery. Monotype prints are entirely unique and created through a process of oily inks being pressed and transferred from a flat surface onto paper. This two-hour workshop aims to explore the boundaries of mark making whilst using a variety of tools which can either remove or apply ink, to create beautiful botanical monotypes. Best to wear an apron to protect clothing or something that you don't mind getting messy in. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own ideas / specialist papers or botanicals.
