CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Craniosacral Therapy is a non-invasive form of therapy which helps to balance and support the various systems within the body. It can be used alongside conventional healthcare to treat acute physical problems as well as more long-standing physical or emotional problems. The client remains fully clothed throughout and by using a light contact the practitioner is able to sense any tensions, twists and blockages within the body's system whilst gently encouraging releases to occur in a supported and comfortable way, so that the body is able to balance and heal more easily.

With its roots in Cranial Osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy is not only concerned with the head but with the whole, incorporating body, mind and spirit into the healing process. Following the body's lead, Craniosacral Therapy enhances the body's innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself.

Following an initial written case history each session typically lasts for one hour, after which clients often come away feeling very relaxed and calm with a greater sense of inner well-being. Clients suffering from acute physical symptoms often report that the pain that they have been feeling has substantially subsided immediately after treatment. As well as a source to provide ongoing support in order to balance and energise the system.
